Asking Our Bishops about their Grandparents

This year's National Week for Life and the Family theme is: Grandparents and the Elderly, a Legacy to be Cherished! We sat down with each of our Archbishops (Archeparchy of Winnipeg, Archdiocese of St. Boniface and Archdiocese of Winnipeg) to ask them about their grandparents and their impact on their lives.

Asking Our Bishops their Thoughts on the Increase in Centenarians

We asked our Archbishops what they thought of the following statistic: "The number of centenarians (people aged 100 and older) is set to incline steadily over the next 80 years." How will this impact society? How is it already impacting society? How is this changing family life? How are we seeing grandparents and the elderly more in society?

On the Vocation of Granparents and the Elderly

We asked our Archbishops what message they want to give to the vocation of grandparents, spiritual grandparents and elderly in our community on this National Week for Life and the Family.

How Do Our Bishops See Grandparents & The Elderly Among their Flock?

We asked our Archbishops how they see grandparents, spiritual grandparents and the elderly among their flocks today? How can we better support them?
