Everyone is invited to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Paroisse Saint-Georges! August 4-6!
On Friday, August 4 at 9 p.m., the film "Au bout des doigts" will be shown on the terrace of the Winnipeg River Heritage Museum.
On Saturday, August 5, at 7:30 p.m., Édouard Courcelles and Guy Lacroix will perform Old Time music on the Museum terrace.
Sunday, August 6, is the main event, with a thanksgiving Mass at 10:30 a.m., presided by Mgr Albert LeGatt. Following the Mass, a special blessing will take place at the cemetery in recognition of the parishioners who, since the founding of the parish, have worked to pass on the faith to successive generations. At noon, a meal will be served at the Parish Hall.
Donations will be accepted.
Those wishing to continue the festivities can visit the Winnipeg River Heritage Museum or take a historical walking tour organized by the Museum.Come and join us!
