May 13th is the anniversary of the first of the Fatima apparitions in 1917, and the profound message they brought.
We will celebrate this at Holy Cross Church, honoring Our Lady, with a novena of 15 decades of the rosary at 6:30 am each morning before Mass, from May 4th to 12th, all the time with an image of Our Lady present in our sanctuary.
On May 13th (Saturday), we will have a procession on the sidewalk with a statue of Our Lady immediately following the Saturday morning 7:45 am Mass.
The procession will be just over 2 kms in length, and should last approximately 40 minutes, with some prayers and the rosary along the way.
The procession will proceed from the church east up to Des Meurons, south to Niverville, west to St Mary’s Rd, north to Enfield, then back east to the church.
Following the procession there will be a short talk on the messages of Fatima, and a potluck brunch in the church basement.
We invite all who are interested to join us on this day for the procession and fellowship!
